Pick of the Week | Dallas - 2007-06-29

This won't make up for the Mavericks' surprise early exit from the playoffs this year, but B-ball's 2007 Global Games are in Big D this year. The weeklong games feature teams and players from Africa, Argentina, China, Puerto Rico, Senegal and the U.S. There are two major exhibition games: Team USA vs. China National (5 p.m. Sunday, with Yao Ming expected to attend) and the Dallas Mavericks Summer Team vs. China National (7 p.m. Tuesday). Most of the global tournament is Thursday through July 7, with the gold-medal game at 8 p.m. July 7.
