Prep For College Fair is Oct. 18 - 2008-09-24
The second annual Prep For College Fair – sponsored by Heroes and careerbuilder.com – will be Saturday, October 18, at Gilley's near downtown Dallas.
The fair, which will run 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., offers Dallas-area students a chance to gather information about attending college and more. Groups offering their expertise include careerbuilder.com, SMU, the University of Alabama, the Dallas County Community College District, Rogers Healy and Associates and the College Board.
More than 80 area students attended last year's inaugural event.
Gilley's is located at 1135 South Lamar, just south of the Dallas Convention Center.
